Question by Bryan: Yet another holistic medical doctor who is only concerned about money?
My wife and I are dealing with a Chinese all natural infertility doctor. We saw her in person once while we were in San Francisco. Now we are back in Iowa and dealing with her over the phone.
Her website say 3 one hour follow up sessions. My wife calls today and she said after 15 minutes she has to go. When asked why “we have more questions” she said she usually allows 10 minutes for follow up visits. When we said your website says an hours she said that is a mistake and she will change that info.
Also I discovered today the testimonials on her website and the internet reviews are fabricated. The same word for word positive reviews can be found on her website, Google reviews, and Yelp.
She is promoting that she can heal pain with acupuncture and half of her reviews are about pain management. Towards the end of our 15 minute session my wife said can you help me with my shoulder pain? She said she does not know how to heal pain and she had to get going to her next appointment.
We paid her $ 998 on our first visit which lasted an hour. Now she is back peddling on everything she advertised.
It is like we can’t win, regular doctors are just out to get the bill as high as they can and now this is our second holistic medical participator who is just out to get as much money as she can out of us.
10 minutes of the 15 is her trying to sell us more medicines and other all nature Chinese stuff.
What would you guys do if you were us? We want to have a baby and we already invested a $ 1,000 in this woman.

Has your wife tried taking damiana? It’s supposed to help with conception. As for the doctor, I would just cut my losses.
